@sazius Yes it does. The XMPP-Server of the account is responsible for the functionality. The movim server is just a cache and for images

@aqeeliz Actually a Movim-Server is just a XMPP-Client. The only feature you gain is that you are able to upload your pictures to the server

@aqeeliz No a Movim-Server is a stand-alone webserver. You have to use a existing jabber id.

@mcscx The D* web ui is using the posts which are stored in the db. D* just publishes the feed. it doesn’t use it for the d* web ui.

@schestowitz Yes, diaspora is providing a push-hub for public posts. you can get all d* posts in real-time, but it’s just unidirectional

@mcscx No, as far as i know there is now public timeline. and it wouldn’t be able to recive posts from there because it’s based on xmpp
